Having debuted in 1995 at the Geneva Motor Show and based on the renowned Bentley Continental R. The refined and more expensive Bentley Azure with a list price of around $340,000 benefited from the input of the famous Pininfarina design house. The Azure saw a very limited production run of just 1,403 examples over an 8-year period ending in 2002. It was Bentleys flagship model and tagged as the pinnacle of luxury.
The power output is from a 6.75 liter fuel injected and intercooled Garrett Turbocharged V-8 producing 385 bhp @ 4000 rpm and 553 lb. ft. of torque @ 2000 rpm. Performance is 0-60 mph in 6.9 seconds with a top speed of 145 mph.
This Azure has previously been owned by a single family from new, extremely well maintained when and where needed. It recently went through a full $12,000 servicing including hydraulics for the soft top. All body lines are excellent and shows no signs of any accidents or damage.
